Sega of America Inc. on Tues. said the game title Condemned 2: Bloodshoot will include online multiplayer modes in the final release.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot, scheduled to be released on Mar. 11, will be released for Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 and Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3.

New online multiplayer modes include Crime Scene, a round-based competition to find and protect evidence, Bum Rush, a team-based race against time, Deathmatch, a classic free-for-all mode, and Team Deathmatch, a team-based version of the free-for-all mode.

Condemned 2: Bloodshoot is the follow-up to the 2005 release Condemned: Criminal Origins.

The Xbox 360 sold 1.2 million units in Dec. according to NPD Group Inc.

Sony this month said that it sold 1.2 million PS3 units to U.S. retailers during the holiday period.
