The Club demo shoots to Xbox 360, PS3

Sega of America Inc. on Tues. said that demo for the game title The Club is now available on the Xbox Live division of Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360.
The Club demo will be released this Thurs. on the Playstation Network for Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3. In the shooting title, players take the role of one of eight misfit gladiators who must fight in an underground blood sport run by millionaires. Developed by Bizarre Creations, the final game will be available at U.S. retail in Feb. 2008. The completed title will include multiplayer action for up to eight players in multiple game modes, including Kill Match, Score Match, and Hunter/Hunted. Microsoft in Jan. said that the Xbox 360 has sold 17.7 million units worldwide to date. The hardware has sold 9.2 million units in the U.S. to date according to NPD Group Inc. Sony in Dec. said it sold 1.2 million PS3 units to retail during the holiday month. More than three million PS3 units have been sold in the U.S. to date according to NPD Group.
