Amazon.com and GameStop.com on Tues. listed an MSRP of $29.99 for the anticipated arcade shooter. The title previously carried an MSRP of $49.99.
Sales for the title increased more than 2,000 percent on Tues. in Amazon's Computer & Video Games division.
The 2004 arcade shooter hit will be released to Wii on Nov. 20. The title was showcased last week at the E for All Expo to positive reaction from game fans.
Ghost Squad will utilize the new Wii Zapper peripheral to be sold on Nov. 19. The product will include a free title, Link's Crossbow Training.
Wii has attracted a mass market audience with control-friendly games that utilize the motion-sensitive Wii Remote. In addition to the Wii Zapper, Nintendo plans to offer a Wii Wheel peripheral in 2008.
Wii is the No. 2-selling video game hardware in the U.S., behind Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 and ahead of Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3.
