Product sales for the title increased 608 percent by Tues. morning to rank at the No. 25 sales position at Amazon.com's Computer & Video Games division.
Additonally, the product page for the item carries a revised release date of Feb. 1, 2008, a change from a prior date of Jan. 1.
Amazon began offering the casual game title, which sells for $69.99, last week to online customers.
Wii Fit, which will be sold with a new Wii Balance Board peripheral, is said to feature more than 40 exercises, including aerobics, muscle training, and yoga.
Nintendo this week announced that it will retail the Wii Zapper gun peripheral this Nov. for $19.99. The product will include a software program to demonstrate future use of the item.
Wii is the top-selling hardware in the U.S., moving 425,000 units in the month of July.
