Nintendo's Wii Points Card, the monetary payment system for online downloads, has dropped to online retailer Amazon.com.

Wii will employ a Virtual Console that will allow owners to download a library of games for around $5 - $10 each.

Games will include titles developed for the NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, and Turbo Grafx-16.

Nintendo will drop Wii to U.S. retail on Nov. 19 for $249.99. The SKU will include one wireless Wii Remote, one Nunchuk Controller, and Wii Sports.

In 2005, Microsoft introduced a similar card payment feature for downloads on Xbox Live Microsoft called Microsoft Points. Xbox 360 owners can purchase Microsoft Point cards at leading retailers and redeem them for online downloads.
