Nintendo's Animal Crossing: Wild World for the Nintendo DS is the #1 seller at e-tail giant Amazon.com's Computer and Video Games department on Tuesday.
The life-simulation game has held the #1 spot for three days in a row to beat out other games and systems like Blizzard's World of Warcraft, Sony's PSP, EA's The Sims 2: Open for Business Expansion Pack, and EA's MVP 06: NCAA Baseball. Wild World is a handheld version of the Nintendo GameCube sleeper hit that went to sell over 1M units. The new version allows users to visit other player's villages via Nintendo's online service, Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Nintendo DS has seen brisk sales at 13M units sold worldwide. It currently dominates the software charts and has outsold the PSP in Japan.
