Celebrities are flocking to eBay to make their holiday purchases, the auction giant said in a statement released Friday.

Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson both purchased iPods to gift to assitants, while Scrubs' star Donald Faison nabbed a black 4GB iPod nano and Bose SoundDock Speaker System for the kids.

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria nabbed an Xbox 360 for boyfriend Tony Parker, as did House, M.D. regular Sela Ward for her son.

eBay has become a destination to purchase sought after technology.

Xbox 360 consoles were bid up to over $1,000 at its peak. Research firm Terapeak estimates that an Xbox 360 is sold every 13 seconds on eBay to sales of over $23 million in the first week of the console's release.
