Nintendo Switch No. 1; Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission No. 1 in Japan

Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch hardware ranked as the top hardware in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Famitsu this week said the Nintendo Switch sold 50,367 units between Apr. 1 and Apr. 7 to rank as the No. 1 hardware selling 46,850 units for the week.

It sold 49,852 units the week prior.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission ranked as the No. 1 software selling 70,990 units for the week.

In Q1, Nintendo recorded an operating profit of $272 million from $1.51 billion in revenue.

Between Apr. to June, the Nintendo Switch sold 1.88 million units.

In addition, it sold 17.96 million units of software in the period.

The company expects to sell 20 million Nintendo Switch units by the end of Mar. 2019.
