Media Create Co. this week reported the PS4 sold 26,569 units between Feb. 26 to Mar. 4 to rank No. 2 in overall hardware sales.
The hardware 34,775 units the week prior.
Rainbow Six: Siege – Advanced Edition ranked as the No. 9 software for the week selling 8,042 units for the week.
Sony this week said it will release the Playstation 4 Pro 1TB God of War Bundle at U.S. retail Apr. 20.
The bundle includes the Limited Edition God of War PS4 Pro 1TB console, Leviathan Gray Dualshock 4 Controller, and God of War at $449.99.
Square Enix Holdings Co. Ltd. this week released Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition.
Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition includes an all-new dungeon, first-person mode, new Gear, new bosses, all season pass content, and a controllable Royal Vessel.
It sells at $49.99.
Sony this week released the Playstation 4 System Software Update 5.5.
Software Update 5.5 includes Play Time Management to manage play time for family members, Library UI Updates, Quick Menu Enhancements, Background Music on PS Now, option to delete Notifications, option to import custom Wallpapers via USB, customize Tournament Team Pages, and new Supersampling Mode for PS4 Pro to render a higher resolution on 4K TVs.
Sony this week released Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and PS Vita titles for Playstation Plus members to the Playstation Network division for Mar. 2018.
PS Plus titles include Bloodborne (PS4), Ratchet and Clank (PS4), Legend of Kay Anniversary (PS3), Mighty No. 9 (PS4, PS3) Claire: Extended Cut (PS4, PS Vita) and Bombing Busters (PS4, PS Vita).

Sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One hardware ranked at No. 5 in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.
Media Create Co. this week reported that the Xbox One sold 264 units, including 117 Xbox One X units, between Feb. 26 and Mar. 4.
By comparison, the Xbox One sold 274 units, including 139 Xbox One X units the week prior.
Microsoft this month will release the Xbox One S 1TB PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Bundle to retail.
The Xbox One S 1TB PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Bundle will include the Xbox One S 1TB hardware, Xbox Wireless Controller, Sea of Thieves full game download, 1-Month Xbox Live Gold, and 1-Month Xbox Live Game Pass at $299.99.
It will be sold Mar. 20.
Microsoft this week released the March Update to Forza Motorsport 7 Demo for Xbox One, Xbox One X and the PC.
The March Update includes includes Spectate – Ticker and Spectate – Telemetry updates, Livery Editor updates and the March Car Pack.
Microsoft in Feb. announced new Xbox One X Enhanced titles for four Xbox 360 titles.

Media Create Co. this week reported that the Nintendo Switch sold 45,083 units between Feb. 26 and Mar. 4 to rank as the No. 1 hardware for the week.
It sold 39,696 units the week prior.
Dragon Quest Builders ranked as the No. 2 software 28,430 units in the period.
Nintendo this week said it will release Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch in 2018.
The new entry in the fighting franchise will include characters from the Splatoon series.
The final game will include franchise veterans including Mario and Link.
Square Enix Holdings Co. Ltd. this week said Octopath Traveler for the Nintendo Switch will be sold July 13.
Octopath Traveler is a turn-based role-playing game that includes HD-2D graphics, Boost system to build powerful attacks, and eight distinct characters with their own story path.
Nintendo this week said it will release Mario Tennis Aces for the Nintendo Switch June 22.
Mario Tennis Aces will include new skill and competitive gameplay. In addition, the title will include a brand new story mode for missions and boss battles.
Nintendo this week said it will release Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch May 18.
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will include all maps and missions in addition to 29 playable characters from the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions.
