Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 3 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Media Create Co. this week said the Nintendo 3DS sold 16,855 units between Jan. 8 and Jan. 14 to rank as the No. 3 game hardware for the week.

The hardware sold 45,737 units the week prior.

Mario Party: The Top 100 ranked as the No. 6 software for the week selling 20,320 units.

Nintendo recorded a $458.4 million profit in the second quarter due to strong sales for the Nintendo Switch.

Between Apr. to Sept. 2017, the company recorded net sales of $3.29 billion and operating income of $351 million.

The Nintendo 3DS sold 1.91 million units and 7.97 million units in the quarter.

Mobile income held at $158 million.
