Nintendo Co. Ltd. this week said Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch holds an above 60 percent attach rate to system owners.
The company said more than 60 percent of Nintendo Switch owners have purchased Super Mario Odyssey.
The title, which has sold 1.1 million units in the U.S. as of Nov. 2017, is the fastest-selling Super Mario game ever in the U.S., beating sales of New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Locations include a metropolitan city, forest and a food-based world.
A new ally, Cappy, allows Mario to inhabit different characters in the game. In addition, a second player can control Cappy for local co-op functionality.
