Capcom Co. Ltd. this month said amiibo figures are compatible with Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 for Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch.
The company said any amiibo can be scanned once per day to receive bonus ammo or points. Capcom characters, including Mega Man and Ryu, yield better bonuses.
Resident Evil Revelations introduces the Federal Bioterrorism Commission and the city of Terrogrigia, which was destroyed in a terrorist attack by an organization called Veltro.
The final game includes Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, a scanner to uncover items, and custom weapon functionality.
In Resident Evil Revelations 2, veteran Claire Redfield and Moira Burton, the daughter of Barry Burton from Resident Evil, are abducted in an abandoned detention facility and face new Afflicted enemies.
In addition, the title features Barry Burton and new character Natalia Korda in a search to find Moira.
The Nintendo Switch version includes Joy-Con motion controls, HD Rumble compatibility and Raid Mode local co-op functionality.
The retail SKU includes Resident Evil Revelations cartridge and Resident Evil Revelations 2 digital download at $39.99.
Both are sold in digital format at $19.99 each.
