Nintendo Co. Ltd. this week said the Nintendo Switch hardware has 10 million units at global retail.

The sales figure is since Mar. 2017 and based on the company’s internal sales data.

Nintendo recorded a $458.4 million profit in the second quarter due to strong sales for the Nintendo Switch.

Between Apr. to Sept. 2017, the company recorded net sales of $3.29 billion and operating income of $351 million.

The Nintendo Switch sold 2.93 million units and 13.48 million software units in the quarter.

To date, the Nintendo Switch has shipped 3.11M units in the U.S., 1.95M units in Japan and 2.56M units in other territories.

Nintendo increased the Switch shipment forecast to 14 million units from 10 million units through Mar. 2018. In addition, the Switch software shipment forecast increased to 50 million units from 35 million units.
