Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 ranked as the No. 3 hardware in Japan in the latest data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 26,909 units between Nov. 20 to Nov. 26 to rank No. 3 in overall hardware sales.

The hardware sold 26,058 units the week prior.

Call of Duty WWII ranked as the No. 5 software for the week selling 21,512 units. It ranked as the No. 5 software the week prior.

Bethesda Softworks this week released DOOM VFR for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 Playstation VR and VIVE.

DOOM VFR is a new virtual reality game will include trademark space station first-person shooting against demonic monsters.

Sales for the PS Vita ranked as the No. 4 video game hardware in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this week said the PS Vita sold 5,964 units between Nov. 20 and Nov. 26 rank as the No. 4 hardware for the week.

It sold 3,090 units the week prior.

Sony this week previewed free Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and PS Vita titles for Playstation Plus members to the Playstation Network division for Dec. 2017.

PS Plus titles include Darksiders II: Definitive Edition (PS4), Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends (PS4), Syberia Collection (PS3), Xblaze Lost: Memories (PS3), Forma.8 (PS Vita) and Wanted Corp (PS Vita).

In addition, between Nov. 7 and Jan. 2, PS Plus members in the U.S., Canada and most of Latin America can download Until Dawn: Rush of Blood at no cost.

Square Enix Holdings Co. Ltd. this week released Star Ocean: The Last Hope for the Playstation 4.

The Star Ocean: The Last Hope PS4 SKU is remastered to 4K and full HD resolution.

In addition, the title includes graphics options like camera blur, self shadow, and shadow quality.

The title, released in 2010, includes a real-time battle system and battles across the universe.

Sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One hardware ranked at No. 5 in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Xbox One X sold 212 units between Nov. 20 to Nov. 29 to rank No. 5 in overall sales. In addition, the Xbox One sold 196 units in the same period.

Microsoft this month previewed Xbox Live Games with Gold for the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 in Dec. 2017.

In Dec., the Xbox One will offer Warhammer: Endtimes – Vermintide Dec. 1st to the 31st and Back to the Future: 30th Anniversary Edition from Dec. 16th to Dec. 31st.

The Xbox One and Xbox 360 will offer Child of Eden from Dec. 1st to the 15th and Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death from Dec. 16th to the 31st.

Sales for Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch hardware ranked No. 1 in Japan in the latest sales data for the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Nintendo Switch sold 145,200 units between Nov. 20 and Nov. 26 to rank as the No. 1 hardware for the week.

It sold 86,999 units the week prior.

Super Mario Odyssey ranked as the No. 2 software selling 77,751 units for the week. It ranked at No. 3 the week prior.

Atlus USA Inc. this week said it will release Shin Megami Tensei V for the Nintendo Switch.

Shin Megami Tensei V is set in modern day Tokyo in which users will battle a new onslaught of demons.

A release date is to be determined.

Nintendo this week released Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for Nintendo Switch.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is an action RPG developed by Monolith Soft.

In the title, Drivers bond with Blades which lend them their weapons and powers in battle. In addition, Blades have support abilities out of battle.

The final release includes Japanese audio and English subtitles in a free DLC download.

Nintendo this week released the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Edition for the Nintendo Switch.

The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Edition includes a custom design and grips.

Capcom Co. Ltd. this week released Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 for the Nintendo Switch.

The Nintendo Switch version includes Joy-Con motion controls, HD Rumble compatibility and Raid Mode local co-op functionality.

It sells at $39.99.

Hamster, Co. this week released World Heroes for the Nintendo Switch.

Developed by ADK, World Heroes is a fighting title released to the Neo Geo in 1992. The title eight characters, Normal Mode and Deathmatch Mode.

It sells at $7.99.

The Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 2 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Media Create Co. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 34,886 units between Nov. 20 and Nov. 26 to rank as the No. 3 game hardware for the week.

The hardware sold 43,480 units the week prior.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon ranked as the No. 1 software for the week selling 168,978 units.
