Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 ranked as the No. 2 hardware in Japan in the latest data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 26,058 units between Nov. 6 to Nov. 12 to rank No. 2 in overall hardware sales.

The hardware sold 28,823 units the week prior.

Call of Duty WWII ranked as the No. 2 software for the week selling 67,044 units. It ranked at No. 1 the week prior.

Sony this week released the Playstation 4 Pro 1TB Star Wars Battlefront II Bundle to U.S. retail.

The bundle includes the customized Jet Black PS4 Pro 1TB, custom Dualshock 4 Controller, and Star Wars Battlefront II: Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition at $449.99.

Sony this week released the Playstation VR Skyrim VR Bundle for the Playstation 4.

The new bundle, to be sold Nov. 17, will include the Playstation VR headset, Playstation Camera, two Playstation Move controllers, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR at $449.99.

Sony this week said it will release the Playstation VR DOOM VFR Bundle for the Playstation 4.

The new bundle, to be sold Dec. 1, will include the Playstation VR headset, Playstation Camera, updated PSVR Demo Disc, and DOOM VFR at $399.99.

Sales for the PS Vita ranked as the No. 4 video game hardware in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this week said the PS Vita sold 3,210 units between Nov. 6 and Nov. 12 rank as the No. 4 hardware for the week.

It sold 3,576 units the week prior.

Sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One hardware ranked at No. 7 in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Xbox One X sold 1,344 units between Nov. 6 to Nov. 12 to rank No. 7 in overall sales. In addition, the Xbox One sold 121 units in the same period.

It platform sold 114 units the week prior.

Microsoft this week said it will price cut the Xbox One S to $189 in a Black Friday Deal.

Between Nov. 23 and Nov. 27, customers can purchase the Xbox One S 500GB SKU at $189, down from the $249.99 MSRP.

In addition, it will price cut select first-party game titles by $20 in the same period. Eligible titles include, Forza Motorsport 7, Gears of War 4, Halo Wars 2, and Forza Horizon 3.

Microsoft this week began Black Friday Deals for Xbox Live Gold Members.

Between Nov. 17 and Nov. 20, Xbox Live Gold members receive early access to discounted digital games.

In addition, between Nov. 17 and Nov. 27, customers can save up to 65 percent off more than 500 Xbox One and Xbox 360 digital games, and digital movies and TV shows.

EA Inc. this week released Star Wars Battlefront II.

Star Wars Battlefront II includes a single-player campaign and an expanded multiplayer mode that features iconic heroes and villains across all eras.

The final game includes a progression and customization system.

Rockstar Games this week released L.A. Noire to U.S. retail.

L.A. Noire for the PS4 and Xbox One includes the full base game, all download content, increased visual fidelity, enhanced graphics, new camera angles and 1080p resolution. The title will support 4K resolution on the Playstation 4 Pro and the Xbox One X.

L.A. Noire for the Nintendo Switch includes the complete base game, all download content, Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic gesture-based controls, HD Rumble, and new wide over-the-shoulder camera angles, and touch screen controls.

Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. this week said it add Noctis Lucis Caelum to Tekken 7: Fated Retribution.

Noctis Lucis Caelum, from Square Enix Holding Co. Ltd.’s Final Fantasy XV, will be included in DLC to be sold spring 2018.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment Inc. this week released LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is an all-new adventure in which users time travel to defeat Kang the Conqueror.

Locations include Ancient Egypt, Planet Hulk and New York City.

Sales for Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch hardware ranked No. 1 in Japan in the latest sales data for the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Nintendo Switch sold 79,958 units between Nov. 6 and Nov. 12 to rank as the No. 1 hardware for the week.

It sold 64,387 units the week prior.

Super Mario Odyssey ranked as the No. 1 software selling 73,315 units for the week. It ranked at No. 2 the week prior.

The Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 3 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Media Create Co. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 19,369 units between Nov. 6 and Nov. 12 to rank as the No. 3 game hardware for the week.

The hardware sold 20,856 units the week prior.

Style Savvy: Styling Star ranked as the No. 8 software selling 9,650 units for the week. It ranked at No. 3 the week prior.

Nintendo this week released Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon for the Nintendo 3DS.

In an untold story from the new release, legendary Pokémon Necrozma has transformed into Dusk Mane Necrozma, who took over Solgaleo, and Dawn Wings Necrozma, who took over Lunala.

The title includes added customization options and Rockruff special evolution to Lycanroc.

We Are Fuzzy this week said it will release Sleep Tight for the Nintendo Switch and the PC in Q1 2018.

Sleep Tight is a twin-stick shooter with base-building elements that requires the user to base build by day and fight monsters in nocturnal battles.

The final game allows user to upgrade their skills, buy power-ups and unlock new weapons.
