Rockstar Games this week will release L.A. Noire for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One and Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch.

L.A. Noire for the PS4 and Xbox One will include the full base game, all download content, increased visual fidelity, enhanced graphics, new camera angles and 1080p resolution. The title will support 4K resolution on the Playstation 4 Pro and the Xbox One X.

L.A. Noire for the Nintendo Switch, to be sold Nov. 14, will include the complete base game, all download content, and Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic gesture-based controls, HD Rumble, and new wide over-the-shoulder camera angles, and touch screen controls.

L.A. Noire, released in May 2011, is an open-world action title set in the 1940’s.

The title includes a murder mystery plot devised by a serial killer who leaves messages to the authorities.

The final game includes a block-by-block eight-mile recreation of 1947 Los Angeles and a variety of cases to solve.
