Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 22,706 units between Oct. 9 to Oct. 15 to rank No. 2 in overall hardware sales.
The hardware sold 22,549 units the week prior.
Middle-earth: Shadow of War ranked as the No. 1 software for the week selling 20,144 units at launch.
Sony this week released Gran Turismo Sport for the Playstation 4.
GT Sport includes Arcade Mode, Campaign Mode, Brand Central, Sport Mode, and Livery Editor.
The final game includes 137 vehicles, 19 locations, and 27 layouts.
Sony this week said it will release the Playstation 4 Pro 1TB Star Wars Battlefront II Bundle to U.S. retail Nov. 14.
The bundle will include the customized Jet Black PS4 Pro 1TB, custom Dualshock 4 Controller, and Star Wars Battlefront II: Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition at $449.99.
In addition, the PS4 Slim 1TB Star Wars Battlefront II Bundle with standard console, controller, and Star Wars Battlefront II retail copy will be sold Nov. 17 at $299.99.
Sony this week said it will sell the Playstation 4 Mini Wired Gamepad.
Developed by Hori, the controller is 40 percent smaller than the Dualshock 4 and includes a ten-foot-long cable.
It will sell at $29.99 this holiday.
Capcom Co. this week released Zeku Trailer for Street Fighter V for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 and the PC.
Zeku is the former Bushinryu teacher to Guy from Street Fighter Alpha 2.
Zeku, to be released Oct. 24, is included in the SFV Season 2 Character Pass.

Sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One hardware ranked at No. 7 in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.
Media Create Co. this month reported that the Xbox One sold 71 units between Oct. 9 to Oct. 15 to rank No. 7 in overall sales.
It sold 186 units the week prior.
Microsoft this week said it will release an update to Halo: The Master Chief Collection for the Xbox One to utilize the Xbox One X hardware.
The update will include enhancements for the Xbox One X, fixes, improvements, and upgrades to the core game.
Microsoft Corp. this week released the Dilate Trailer for Xbox One X.
The trailer previews multiple Xbox One X compatible titles.
A full TV commercial will be released Oct. 22.
EA Inc. this week detailed the Turning Tides DLC Battlefield 1.
In Dec., the Turning Tides DLC will release the Achi Baba map, Cape Helles map, Gallipoli Operation, six new guns, two new melee weapons, L-Class Destroyer, C-Class Airship and Infiltrator Elite Class.
In Jan. 2018, the Turning Tides DLC will release the Heligoland Bight map, Zeebrugge map, British Royal Marines faction.
Capcom Co. Ltd. this week said Resident Evil 7.
Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition, to be sold Dec. 12, will include the base game, Banned Footage Vol. 1, Banned Footage Vol. 2, and the future End of Zoe DLC.
2K Games this week released WWE 2K18.

Nintendo this week released Fire Emblem Warriors for Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo 3DS.
Developed by Koei Tecmo Corp., Fire Emblem Warriors is an action title based on the Warriors franchise, which includes strategy-based third-person battles against enemy hordes.
The Fire Emblem Warriors Special Edition includes the game, three soundtrack CDs, dual-sided poster and 25 character art cards at $79.99.
NPD Group Inc. this week said the Nintendo Switch hardware ranked No. 1 in Sept. at U.S. retail.
The data marks the third consecutive month the hardware has ranked as the top-selling hardware, and the fifth time in the seven months since launch.
It has sold more than two million units in the U.S. to date.

Bethesda Softworks this week said it will release DOOM for Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch Nov. 10.
The Nintendo Switch version will include the full 2016 release and online multiplayer functionality.

Developed by SNK Corp., Robo Army is a beat-em-up game released to the Neo Geo in 1991. The title includes two-player co-op and power up items.
