Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 ranked as the No. 2 hardware in Japan in the latest data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 22,549 units between Oct. 2 to Oct. 8 to rank No. 2 in overall hardware sales.

The hardware sold 29,279 units the week prior.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen ranked as the No. 7 software for the week selling 11,666 units at launch.

Sony this week released the 20 Years of GT Trailer for Gran Turismo Sport for the Playstation 4.

The trailer is a look at the 20-year history of the Gran Turismo franchise.

Sony this month said Activision Blizzard Inc.’s Destiny 2 for the Playstation 4 ranked as the top download title in the Playstation Network division in Sept.

For the month, Destiny 2 ranked as the No. 1 PS4 PSN digital download title.

Sales for Activision Blizzard Inc.’s Destiny 2 for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One were 50 percent less than Destiny according to data by NPD Group Inc.

In a report from CNBC, analysts said Destiny 2 sales in Sept. 2017 were more than 50 percent below sales for Destiny in Sept. 2014.

The figure does not include digital game sales not tracked by NPD.

Sales for the PS Vita ranked as the No. 4 video game hardware in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this week said the PS Vita sold 3,545 units between Oct. 2 and Oct. 8 rank as the No. 4 hardware for the week.

It sold 3,732 units the week prior.

Tokyo Clanpool ranked as the No. 10 sofware selling 5,197 units for the week.

Sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One hardware ranked at No. 7 in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Xbox One sold 186 units between Oct. 2 to Oct. 8 to rank No. 7 in overall sales.

It sold 71 units the week prior.

Forza Motorsport 7 fell from the top 50 software sales. It ranked at No. 50 at launch the week prior.

The Xbox One S Starter Bundle will include the Xbox One S 500GB hardware, Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Live Gold 3-Month Trial and Xbox Game Pass 3-Month Pass at $279.00, £229 GBP, or €279 EUR.

The Xbox One S Ultimate Halo Bundle includes the Xbox One S 500GB hardware, Xbox Wireless Controller, Halo 5: Guardians game download, Halo: The Master Chief Collection game download, Xbox Live Gold 3-Month Trial and Xbox Game Pass 1-Month Pass at $279.00 at Walmart U.S. stores only.

Activision Blizzard Inc. this week released the Retribution DLC for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One.

The Absolution DLC includes four new multiplayer maps – Altitude, Depot 22, Heartland, and Carnage.

In addition, it includes Infinite Warfare Zombies – The Beast From Beyond.

Microsoft this week said it will release Disneyland Adventures and Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure to the Xbox One and Windows Store Oct. 30.

In Disneyland Adventures, users enter the worlds of 18 famous attractions.

In Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure includes worlds from six Disney / Pixar Films to solve puzzles and uncover secrets.

Both titles are remastered for 4K and HDR support, in addition to Xbox Play Anywhere functionality.

Each title can be pre-ordered at $29.99.

Bethesda Softworks this week released The Evil Within 2.

In The Evil Within 2, Detective Sebastian Castellanos enters a world filled with nightmares to save his daughter.

The final game includes weapon, trap and stealth options.

EA Inc. this week released the Story Trailer for Need for Speed Payback.

The trailer previews the story and characters from the story mode.

Warner Bros Entertainment Inc. this week released Middle-earth: Shadow of War.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is the sequel to Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.

The open-world RPG includes robust customization, and dynamic environments and characters shaped by player actions and decisions.

2K Games this week released WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition.

WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition includes 4 day early access to the title, WWE 2K18 Season Pass, MyPlayer Kick Start, and Accelerator.

WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition sells at $89.99.

Sales for Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch hardware ranked No. 1 in Japan in the latest sales data for the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Nintendo Switch sold 38,204 units between Oct. 2 and Oct. 8 to rank as the No. 1 hardware for the week.

It sold 73,231 units the week prior.

Fire Emblem Warriors ranked as the No. 9 software selling 8,024 units for the week.

Nintendo this week released the Musical Trailer for Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch.

The trailer includes a live action musical featuring Mario and gameplay action.

Hamster, Co. this week released The King of Fighters ’95 for the Nintendo Switch.

Developed by SNK Corp., The King of Fighters ’95 is a fighting game released to the Neo Geo in 1995. The title includes three-character team versus battles and a team edit function.

It sells at $7.99.

THQ Nordic this week said it will release This is the Police for the Nintendo Switch to the Nintendo eShop Oct. 24.

The retail SKU will be sold Dec. 5th.

This is the Police is a strategy adventure game in which Police Chief Jack Boyd must make $500,000 in 180 days before he reaches retirement.

Boyd must carry daily duties, solve investigations, and deal with competing powers while trying to make a fortune.

The Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 3 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Media Create Co. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 20,321 units between Oct. 2 and Oct. 8 to rank as the No. 3 game hardware for the week.

The hardware sold 19,272 units the week prior.

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions ranked as the No. 1 software selling 25,788 units for the week.
