Microsoft Corp. this week began pre-order sales for the Xbox One X Standard Edition at U.S. retail.

The Xbox One X will include eight cores, 6 TFlop capability, 12GB GDDR5 memory, 326GB per second bandwidth, 40 compute units at 1172Mhz, 1TB hard drive, 4K UHD Blu-ray disc drive, and backwards compatibility to Xbox One games and hardware.

It will support HDMI 2.1 and AMD FreeSync, an adaptive synchronization technology to eliminate screen tearing and reduce stutter.

All Xbox One games and accessories will be compatible with the Xbox One X.

Microsoft in Aug. said the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition is the fastest-selling Xbox pre-order to date. Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition pre-order sold more in five days than any prior Xbox console.

It will be sold Nov. 7 at $499.99.
