U.S. retail stores this week restocked Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Nintendo Switch hardware amid strong demand for the product.

Retailers including Best Buy Co. Inc., Target Corp., GameStop Corp., and Toys R Us Inc. advertised restock of the Nintendo Switch in limited quantities.

The hardware has held limited availability at retail due to strong demand since launch in Mar.

Between Apr. to June, Nintendo held a $145 million operating profit.

The company sold 1.97 million Nintendo Switch units in the quarter. The hardware has sold 4.7 million units to date since launch in Mar. 2017.

Nintendo held a 10 million unit shipment forecast through Mar. 2018.
