Microsoft Corp. this week announced backwards compatible functionality for Konami Corp.’s Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for Xbox 360 with the Xbox One.
Developed by Platinum Games, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance features Raiden in spectacular battles between soldiers and machines.
The title is set nine years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4, with Raiden still suffering from the wounds of war.
Gameplay includes the ability to slash enemies like soldiers, mechs, and helicopters to pieces, in combination with quick run and jump maneuvers.
The backwards compatibility function allows Xbox One owners to utilize their Xbox 360 retail discs to download the software to their Xbox One and play natively with new Xbox One functionality.
