Media Create Co. this week said Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch ranked in the top 10 software sales in June at Japan retail.
Between July 10 and July 16, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ranked as the No. 8 software across all platforms in the region selling 7,015 units.
The Legend of Zelda is an open world RPG that includes trademark franchise features including action-based combat, Sailcloth gliding, and horseback travel and combat.
The final game includes the option to pinpoint locations in the open world and traverse to the area by several means.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the fastest-selling Nintendo launch game and fastest-selling Zelda title in history.
The Expansion Pass includes the Expansion Pass Bonus, DLC Pack 1 and DLC Pack 2 at $19.99.
The Expansion Pass Bonus includes three new treasure chests; DLC Pack 1 (Summer 2017) includes a new Cave of Trials Challenge, Hard Mode, and Additional Map Feature; and DLC Pack 2 (Holiday 2017) will include a new original story, new dungeon and additional challenges.
