Sony Corp. this week said it will discontinue Playstation Now support for the Playstation 3, PS Vita, and Playstation TV Aug. 15.

In addition, the service will end for 2013-2015 Bravia TV SKUs, Sony Blu-ray disc models, and all Samsung TV models.

The company said the service will continue for the Playstation 4 and the PC.

Playstation Now is a cloud-based streaming gaming service that will allow users to access a back catalog of Playstation 3 titles.

Usage includes continuous play of PS Now games between the PS4 and the PC. In addition, consumers can rent titles or purchase a subscription to play PS Now titles.
