Nvidia Inc. this week said it will release the GeForce NOW service to the PC and Mac.

GeForce NOW is a cloud gaming technology service that allows users to PC games to run on a virtual GeForce NOW GeForce GTX 1080 PC.

In addition, patches, game configs, and driver updating is handled by the GeForce NOW infrastructure.

Registered users can play eight hours on a GeForce GTX 1060 PC or four hours on a GeForce GTX 1080 PC free. For an additional $25 users can play 20 hours on a GeForce GTX 1060 PC or 10 hours on a GeForce GTX 1080 PC.

Early access to the service will begin in Mar.
