Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 ranked as the No. 2 hardware in Japan in the latest data from the region.
Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 42,102 units between Nov. 21 and Nov. 27 to rank No. 2 in overall hardware sales.
The sales figure includes 8.243 PS4 Pro units sold in the same period.
It sold 38,026 units the week prior.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare ranked as the No. 12 software for the week 6,506 units.
Square Enix Holdings Co. this week released Final Fantasy XV.
Final Fantasy XV is a single-player action RPG to include an open world and action battle system.
The final game includes Chocobo riding, updated battle mechanics, and magic usage.
Square Enix Holdings Co. Ltd. this week said Final Fantasy XV has sold five million units in global markets.
The sales number includes physical and digital sales combined.
Sony this week released Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and PS Vita titles for Playstation Plus members to the Playstation Network division for Dec. 2016.
PS Plus titles include Invisible, Inc. (PS4), Stories: Path of Destinies (PS4), Hyper Void (PS3), Tiny Troopers Joint Ops (PS3), Color Guardians (PS Vita), and VVVVVV (PS Vita).
SNK Playmore Corp. this month released Patch 1.05 to The King of Fighters XIV for the Playstation 4.
Patch 1.05 includes new ranking match ranks, new opponent strengths in ranked match, improved online connection, playable Antonov and Verse, and minor bugs fixed.
Capcom Co. this week said it will release Holiday Content 2016 Trailer Street Fighter V for the Playstation 4 and the PC.
The trailer previews the Holiday Content 2016 DLC which will include six new premium holiday costumes and a holiday-themed version of the New York stage.
Each holiday costume will be sold at $3.99 and the holiday stage will be sold at $1.99. The full DLC bundle will sell at $19.99.
SNK Corp. this week released Metal Slug for the Playstation 4 to the Playstation Network division.
The 2D side-scrolling action title, released in 1996, includes two-player co-op action with Marco and Tarma in a fight to defeat General Morden.

It sold 186 units the week prior.
Microsoft this week released Xbox Live Games with Gold for the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 in Dec. 2016.
In Dec., the Xbox One will offer Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition from Dec. 1st to the 31st and Outlast from Dec. 16th to Jan. 15th.
The Xbox One and Xbox 360 will offer Outland Dec. 1st to the 15th and Burnout Paradise Dec. 16th to the 31st.
EA Inc. this week released the Angel City DLC for Titanfall 2.
The Angel City’s Most Wanted DLC includes Angel City, a remastered map from Titanfall.

The Calling All Units DLC includes all new Police supercars and abilities, and modified street cars.
The Crew Ultimate Edition includes The Crew, The Crew Season Pass, The Crew Wild Run Expansion, and The Crew Calling All Units Expansion.

Microsoft this week said it will release the Blizzard Mountain DLC for Forza Horizon 3 for the Xbox One Dec. 13.
The Blizzard Mountain DLC will include eight new vehicles, 50 new events and challenges, and new mountainous terrain in extreme conditions.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Wii U sold 3,493 units between Nov. 21 and Nov. 27.
It sold 3,251 units the week prior.
