Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 ranked as the No. 1 hardware in Japan in the latest data from the region.
Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 92,344 units between Nov. 7 and Nov. 13 to rank No. 1 in overall hardware sales.
It sold 32,041 units the week prior.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition ranked as the No. 4 software for the week selling 27,330 units.
Sony this week said Gran Turismo Sport for the Playstation 4 Pro will include 4K support at 60 frames-per-second.
In addition, the title will support HDR functionality.
GT Sport will include Arcade Mode, Campaign Mode, Brand Central, Sport Mode, and Livery Editor.
The final game will include 137 vehicles, 19 locations, and 27 layouts.
Atlus USA Inc. this week said it will release Persona 5 for the Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 Apr. 4, 2017.
The title was scheduled to be sold Feb. 14, 2017.
The delay is due to the new inclusion of the Japanese voice over track to be offered as free DLC at launch.
Persona 5 is a turn-based RPG in which a band of students who live dual lives as Phantom Thieves seek to change their ordinary lives through the use of otherworldly alter-ego powers.
Persona 5 will be sold in a standard SteelBook Launch Edition at $59.99 and Premium Edition at $89.99.
The Premium Edition will include the PS4 game, Soundtrack CD, 4-inch Morgana Plush, 64-page Hardcover Art Book, SteelBook, School Bag and Collectible Outer Box at $89.99.
EA Inc. this week released Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition.
Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition includes the Deluxe Edition, Season Pass and Rogue One DLC at $39.99.

It sold 9,816 units the week prior.
Minecraft: PS Vita Edition ranked as the No. 18 software selling 4,386 units for the week.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Xbox One sold 171 units between Nov. 7 and Nov. 13 to rank No. 6 in overall sales.
It sold 181 units the week prior.
Ubisoft Inc. this week released Watch Dogs 2.
Watch Dogs 2 is a third-person action adventure title in which users take the role of a brilliant hacker to shut down an invasive technology that controls everyday citizens.
Ubisoft Inc. this week released Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection.
Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations with enhanced graphics and all previously released DLC.
It sells at $59.99.
Sales for Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Wii U hardware ranked fourth in Japan in the latest sales data for the region.
Media Create Co. this month reported that the Wii U sold 2,756 units between Nov. 7 and Nov. 13.
It sold 2,071 units the week prior.
Minecraft: Wii U Edition ranked as the No. 17 software for the week selling 4,688 units.
The Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 2 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.
Media Create Co. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 32,301 units between Nov. 7 and Nov. 13 to rank as the No. 2 game hardware for the week.
The hardware sold 31,182 units the week prior.
Mario Party Star Rush ranked as the No. 12 software selling 6,630 units for the week.
The title includes a new world, new Pokémon, and new adventures. Starter Pokémon include Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio.
The Nintendo Classic Mini: Family Computer is sold out in major cities in Japan.
The product this week held a sold out status at Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara and in a game store in Shibuya.
Meanwhile, Super Potato in Akihabara held in stock status of the NES Classic Edition UK SKU for about 18,000 yen, or $165 US.
The Nintendo Entertainment System Classic Edition is a mini replica of the original home console that includes 30 games, HDMI cable, and NES Classic Controller. It sells at $59.99.
Nintendo this week said it will release Super Mario Run to Apple Inc.’s iOS Dec. 15.
The title will be sold at $9.99 and include three modes. Prior to purchase, users can download the title to try all three modes at no cost.
Super Mario Run is an action platform title in which Mario auto runs and users tap the screen to jump.
The final game will include a battle mode.
