Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 1,828 units between Aug. 29 and Sept. 4 to rank No. 4 in overall hardware sales.
It sold 5,812 units the week prior.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition ranked as the No. 2 software for the week selling 11,948 units for the week.
Sony this week said it will release the Playstation 4 Pro Nov. 10 at $399.
The PS4 Pro will include 4K and HDR functionality to improve graphics fidelity. In addition, it will include an 8-core AMD Jaguar CPU, GPU at 4.20 TFLOPS, 8GB GDDR5 RAM, and 1TB hard drive. Current PS4 titles will be forward compatible with the PS4 Pro.
Sony this week said it will release the new Playstation 4 Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Bundle to U.S. retail Sept. 15.
The bundle will include the new slim PS4, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller at $299.99.

XSEED Games this week released The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II for the Playstation 3 and PS Vita to U.S. retail.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II is a turn-based RPG that includes the ARCUS system, Combat Link System to bond with allies, new Overdrive mode to allow linked characters to attack three times in a row, new transportation modes, and data transfer from Trails of Cold Steel.

Telltale Games and Mojang AB this week said it will release Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 8 – A Journey’s End? Sept. 13.
The chapter is the third and final episode in the Adventure Pass add-on series.
It will sell at $4.99.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Wii U sold 4,468 between Aug. 29 and Sept. 4.
It sold 4,519 units the week prior.

The Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 1 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

The hardware sold 24,459 units the week prior.
Yo-Kai Watch 3: Sushi / Tempura ranked as the No. 1 software selling 28,821 units for the week.
Nintendo this week said it will release Super Mario Run to Apple Inc.’s iOS.
Super Mario Run is an action platform title in which Mario auto runs and users tap the screen to jump.
The final game will include a battle mode.
Super Mario Run will be available on iOS first this holiday season.
Niantic, Inc. this week said it will release Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Pokémon GO to the Apple Watch.
Pokémon GO for Apple Watch will display workout stats, notify users of nearby Pokémon, and allow users to collect items at PokéStops.
It will be available at the end of 2016.
Apple this week said it will release the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Sept. 16.
iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will utilize the A10 Fusion, a 64-bit four-core CPU that is 40 percent faster than the 6 and 6S Plus. It includes a six-core GPU.
The camera includes optical image stabilization, 1.8 aperture, new 12MP sensor, Quad-LED flash, and 7MP FaceTime HD camera.
The Plus SKU will have two 12MP cameras – wide-angle and telephoto lens for improved zoom and depth of field capabilities.
Included earbuds will utilize the Lightning connector. Each new iPhone will include a Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter.
The iPhone 7 will start at $649 for the 32GB SKU and the iPhone 7 Plus will sell at $769 for the 32GB SKU.
