Apple Inc. new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black SKUs this week held a ship date of Nov. due to strong pre-order demand.
This week, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black 128GB and 256GB SKUs held an estimated ship date of Nov., six weeks after the Sept. 16 launch.
Jet Black is a new deep, high-gloss finish made through a nine-step anodization and polishing process.
In addition, the new force sensitive Home Button works with the Taptic Engine to eliminate a click button.
iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will utilize the A10 Fusion, a 64-bit four-core CPU that is 40 percent faster than the 6 and 6S Plus. It includes a six-core GPU.
The Retina HD Display is said to be 25 percent brighter and battery life is two hours more than the 6S and one hour more than the 6S Plus.
The camera includes optical image stabilization, 1.8 aperture, new 12MP sensor, Quad-LED flash, and 7MP FaceTime HD camera.
The Plus SKU will have two 12MP cameras – wide-angle and telephoto lens for improved zoom and depth of field capabilities.
Included earbuds will utilize the Lightning connector. Each new iPhone will include a Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter.
The iPhone 7 will start at $649 for the 32GB SKU and the iPhone 7 Plus will sell at $769 for the 32GB SKU.
