Square Enix Holdings Co. this week said it will release Final Fantasy XV for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One Nov. 29.
It was previously scheduled to be released Sept. 30.
The delay is said to allow the publisher to polish and conduct quality testing for the title. In addition, a patch planned for day one will be included in the final launch release.
The final game will include Chocobo riding, updated battle mechanics, and magic usage.
The title will be sold in a Day One Edition, Deluxe Edition which includes the game and Kingsglaive movie, and Ultimate Collector’s Edition with game, Kingsglaive movie, Hardcover Art Book, Soundtrack, Exclusive Play Arts Kai Noctis, Bonus Content, and In-Game Item Packs.
