Capcom Co. Ltd. this week said Resident Evil Zero for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and the PC has sold 1.1 million units to date.

Resident Evil ZeroResident Evil Zero was released to Nintendo Co.’s GameCube in 2002. It includes S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers and convict Billy Coen and introduced a partner zapping system to switch between both characters.

Resident Evil Zero director Koji Oda and additional staff returned to develop the new remastered version.

The digital download title sells at $19.99.

Resident Evil Zero is included in Resident Evil Origins, which includes Resident Evil Zero and the Resident Evil HD Remaster.

Capcom in 2015 released the Resident Evil HD Remaster.

It has sold more than 1 million units to date.

The Resident Evil franchise has sold 61 million units worldwide to date.
