Microsoft Corp. this week announced the development of Project Scorpio, the next hardware in the Xbox One console division.
The hardware will include eight cores, 6 TFlop capability, 320GB per second bandwidth, and backwards compatibility to Xbox One games and hardware.
The final hardware will 4K graphics support at 60hz and VR functionality.
It will be sold holiday 2017.
Microsoft in Aug. will sell the Xbox One S, which includes 40 percent smaller than the current Xbox One and includes a 2TB hard drive, 4K Ultra HD video, High Dynamic Range, a streamlined controller and vertical stand at $399.99.
