Nintendo Co. Ltd. this week said it will hold a live stream world premiere for Star Fox Zero for the Wii U.

The live stream, to be held Apr. 20 at 3PM PST at live.nintendo.com, will include Star Fox: The Battle Begins, a new animated short produced in collaboration with Shigeru Miyamoto, Production I.G. and WIT Studio.

In addition, the live stream will conclude with Nintendo Treehouse: Live featuring Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard.

Star Fox Zero, to be sold Apr. 22, will include trademark franchise flight combat action.

The title will include Wii U GamePad functionality that utilizes the gyroscope to view around the cockpit and second screen function to shoot in first-person.

The final game will utilize classic controls with one button firing, Arwing transformation, and barrel rolls.

The Star Fox Zero retail SKU will include the Star Fox Guard at no cost. In addition, Star Fox Guard will be sold separately at the Nintendo eShop at $14.99.

Customers who pre-order the digital version will receive a Nintendo eShop discount of $4.99 toward the purchase of Star Fox Guard.
