Ubisoft Inc. this week said it will release Survival Mode to Far Cry Primal for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One, and the PC Apr. 12.
The free update will allow users to engage in any difficulty level against inhabitants and enable permadeath.
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Far Cry Primal is a single-player first-person shooter in which users survive in a prehistoric world against enemies and the wilderness.
The final game requires users to hunt for food, master fire, craft weapons and tools, and fend off predators.
It sells at $59.99.
