Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 2 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Media Create Co. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 28,355 units between Feb. 29 and Mar. 6 to rank as the No. 2 game hardware for the week.

The hardware sold 25,445 units the week prior.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games ranked as the No. 5 best-selling software for the selling 18,391 units at launch.

Nintendo reported net income of $27 million between July and Sept. in Q2 results.

The Nintendo 3DS sold 1.27 million units in the same period.
