NPD Group Inc. this week said Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright for the Nintendo 3DS ranked in the top 10 software sales in Feb. at U.S. retail.
In Feb., Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright ranked as the No. 9 best-selling software across all platforms for the month.
Nintendo said two versions of Fire Emblem Fates sold more nearly 400,000 physical and digital units combined.
In Birthright, the user must battle the corrupted King of Nohr beside a family of strangers. In Conquest, users must fight to change their misguided kingdom within.
The final game includes the new My Castle area to interact with allies and build stronger relationships, Fire Emblem amiibo compatibility, downloadable DLC and a third story path called Fire Emblem Fates: Revolution to be available for purchase in-game.
