Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 29,363 units between Feb. 15 to Feb. 21 to rank No. 1 in overall hardware sales.
It sold 27,576 units the week prior.
Street Fighter V ranked as the No. 4 software for the week selling 41,990 units at launch.
Sony Corp. this week previewed free Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and PS Vita titles for Playstation Plus members to the Playstation Network division for Mar. 2016.
PS Plus titles include Broforce (PS4), Galak-Z (PS4), Super Stardust HD (PS3), The Last Guy (PS3), Flame Over (PS Vita), Reality Fighters (PS Vita).
Sony Corp. this week released the Story Trailer Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End for the Playstation 4.
The trailer previews the story for the final game.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, to be sold Apr. 26, includes Nathan Drake and Sully in a treasure hunt around the globe.
Capcom Co. Ltd. this week said it will release Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, and Resident Evil 6 to the Playstation 4 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One.
Resident Evil 6 will be sold Mar. 29 followed by Resident Evil 5 in summer 2016 and Resident Evil 4 in fall 2016. Retail disc versions will be sold in the U.S.
Each title will be sold at $19.99.
Square Enix Holdings Co. Ltd. this week said it will launch an exclusive Beta to Playstation Plus members for the Playstation 4.
The beta will take place between Mar. 4 and Mar. 6.
Hitman will be sold in episodic format Mar. 11.
HAMSTER Corp. this week released Arcade Archives Double Dragon II: The Revenge for the Playstation 4 to the Playstation Network division.
Developed by Arc System Works, Double Dragon II is an arcade translation that includes Billy and Jimmy Lee in a fight against the Black Warrior gang. It was released by Technos Japan in 1989.
The final game includes Remote Play and Share functionality.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Xbox One sold 161 units between Feb. 15 and Feb. 21 to rank No. 6 in overall sales.
It sold 101 units the week prior.
Ubisoft Inc. this week said the Open Beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division held 6.4 million users.
The Open Beta began Feb. 18 for the Xbox One and Feb. 19 for the PS4 and the PC. It concluded Feb. 21.
Each user spent an average of five hours in the open world.
The Division, to be sold Mar. 8, is a third-person action shooter that features an open world, multiple objectives, drop-in, drop-out co-op functionality and dynamic online head-to-head battles.
Microsoft this week previewed Xbox Live Games with Gold for the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 in Mar. 2016.
In Mar., the Xbox One will offer Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment from Mar. 1st to the 31st and Lords of the Fallen from Mar. 16th to Apr. 15th.
The Xbox 360 will offer Supreme Commander 2 Mar. 1st to the 15th and Borderlands Mar. 16th to the 31st.
Microsoft this week released the Feb. content release Hammer Storm to Halo 5: Guardians for the Xbox One.
Hammer Storm is a new content drop that includes new game modes Grifball, Assault, and Fiesta.
In addition, the download includes new map Torque, new weapons, new REQ items, and new game types in Forge.
Ubisoft Inc. this week released Far Cry Primal to U.S. retail.
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Far Cry Primal is a single-player first-person shooter in which users survive in a prehistoric world against enemies and the wilderness.
The final game requires users to hunt for food, master fire, craft weapons and tools, and fend off predators.
Sales for Nintendo Co.’s Wii U hardware ranked fourth in Japan in the latest sales data for the region.
Media Create Co. this month reported that the Wii U sold 3,902 units between Feb. 15 and Feb. 21 to rank at No. 4 in overall sales.
It sold 3,933 units the week prior.
Splatoon ranked as the No. 11 best-selling software for the week.
Mojang AB this week released a free update and DLC to Minecraft: Wii U Edition for the Wii U to the Nintendo eShop division.
The update includes new potions, blocks, mobs and biomes.
In addition, users can purchase the new Biome Settlers Skin pack which adds 24 new settler characters and more biome-themed skins.

Nintendo this week said Fire Emblem Fates for the Nintendo 3DS held the best-ever launch for the franchise in launch weekend sales.
The company said the title sold 300,000 units across all versions and is the fastest-selling game in the history of the series.
In addition, the title sold more than five times Fire Emblem Awakening in the first three days of launch.
Nintendo this week released a new bundle that includes the new Nintendo 3DS and Pokemon Blue and Red to U.S. retail.
The New Nintendo 3DS Pokemon 20th Anniversary Edition includes the new Nintendo 3DS, pre-installed copies of Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue, two plate covers, and download code for and exclusive Nintendo 3DS Pokemon Home Theme.

Nintendo this week said it will release Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon for the Nintendo 3DS this holiday.
The title will include a new world, new Pokémon, and new adventures.
Pokémon Bank functionality will allow users to transfer Pokémon from Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow into Pokémon Sun and Moon.
Finally, the title will allow user to choose from nine languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
