Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold units 27,576 between Feb. 8 to Feb. 14 to rank No. 1 in overall hardware sales.
It sold 31,058 units the week prior.
Valkyria Chronicles Remastered ranked as the No. 3 best-selling software for the week, selling 24,156 at launch.
Capcom Co. Ltd. this week released Street Fighter V for the Playstation 4 and the PC to U.S. retail.
Street Fighter V features cross-platform play to unite fighters into a centralized database.
The title is available exclusively for the PS4 and the PC.
The final game includes 16 playable characters at launch.
SNK Playmore Corp. this week released the 6th Teaser Trailer for The King of Fighters XIV for the Playstation 4.
The trailer previews Maxima, Clark and Terry.
The King of Fighters XIV will include three vs. three team matches and 50 new and veteran characters.
Sony this month said Mojang AB’s Minecraft: Playstation 4 Edition for the Playstation 4 ranked as the best-selling title in the Playstation Network division in Jan. 2016.
In Jan., Minecraft: Playstation 4 Edition ranked as the No. 1 best-selling PS4 PSN digital software for the month.
The title includes four-player split-screen local multiplayer and eight player online multiplayer functionality.
Sony this month said Capcom Co. Ltd.’s Resident Evil Zero for the Playstation 4 ranked in the top 15 software sales in the Playstation Network division in Jan. 2016.
In Jan., Resident Evil Zero ranked as the No. 11 best-selling PS4 digital download software for the month.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Xbox One sold 101 units between Feb. 8 and Feb. 14 to rank No. 6 in overall sales.
It sold 286 units the week prior.
Microsoft this week released the Feb. System Update to the Xbox One.
The update includes the option to see who is in a Party, Gamescore Leaderboard, the option to rearrange Pins and access them online, Updating Activity Feed, the option to hide games from the Ready to Install list, ‘Use a code’ shortcut in the Xbox Store, the option to join Twitch broadcasts in Game Hubs and game titles, improvements to Suggested Friends, and option to program hotkeys for the Xbox One Chatpad.
Remedy Entertainment this month The Cemetery Trailer for Quantum Break for the Xbox One and the PC.
The trailer is a live-action preview of the story in the final game.
Quantum Break, to be sold Apr. 5, is a cinematic action title that includes time-amplified gameplay. In the title, Jack Joyce struggles to prevent the end of time in a battle against the evil corporation Monarch Solutions.

Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash ranked as the No. 6 best-selling software for the week. It has sold 86,283 copies in the region.
Nintendo this week released the Features Trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for the Wii U.

Bandai Namco Games America Inc. week released Project X Zone 2 for the Nintendo 3DS.
Developed by Banpresto and Monolith Soft, Project X Zone 2 is a strategy RPG that features characters from Namco Bandai, Sega Corp., and Capcom Co. franchises.
In the game, users utilize a team of two characters called a Pair Unit to deploy actions like Solo Attacks, Support Attacks, Cross Hits, and Finishing Moves.
Nintendo this week began pre-registration for the mobile game Miitomo.
Customers can pre-register for Miitomo by signing up for the new Nintendo Account service with email, social media or Nintendo Network IDs. Pre-register customers will receive a special Miitomo bonus.
Miitomo, to be released in Mar., will allow users to design their own avatars and is said to encourage people to share things about themselves.
Microsoft this week released the Overworld Update to Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition and Minecraft: Pocket Edition.
The Overworld Update includes additional redstone components like comparators, repeaters, dispensers, droppers, hoppers and trapped chests.
Additional components include slime blocks, wearable pumpkins, red sandstone and improved chicken jockey mobs.
Witch huts include a randomly generated potion and users can display their loot in Item Frames.
Finally, the update includes the option to import and export maps to the Windows 10 Beta Edition.
