Capcom Co.’s Resident Evil Origins for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 ranked in the top five software sales in Japan at launch.
Media Create Co. this week said the Resident Evil Origins PS4 SKU ranked as the No. 5 software between Jan. 18 and Jan. 24 selling 21,015 units at launch.
Resident Evil Zero was released to Nintendo Co.’s GameCube in 2002. It includes S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers and convict Billy Coen and introduced a partner zapping system to switch between both characters.
Resident Evil Zero director Koji Oda and additional staff returned to develop the new remastered version.
It includes an all-new Wesker Mode to play as Wesker along side Rebecca Chambers.
