Sony Corp. this week demonstrated Capcom Co.’s Street Fighter V for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 at CES 2016.
The CES 2016 build included solid 60 frames-per-second action with detailed backgrounds and tight controls in a a battle between Chun-Li and Laura.
Street Fighter V, to be sold Feb. 16, will feature cross-platform play to unite fighters into a centralized database.
The title will be released exclusively to the PS4 and the PC.
The final game will 16 playable characters at launch.
Players can earn DLC including post-launch characters by accumulating Fight Money earned through gameplay. The currency can be used to purchase new DLC.
In addition, users can purchase Zenny with real money to gain immediate access to DLC.
Finally, the title will offer free balance updates.
