Nintendo Co.’s The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes for the Nintendo 3DS ranked in the top 25 software sales in the latest Japan retail data.
Media Create Co. this month said The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes ranked as the No. 21 best-selling software between Dec. 21 and Dec. 27.
In the title, users can play single-player with two paper doll figures called Doppels, or enter the online multiplayer mode with two additional players and one copy of the game.
The game will include 32 stages and 36 outfits, each with its own special abilities.
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes includes three-player co-op functionality to adventure through classic dungeon-based gameplay.
The final game will include trademark puzzles and new options like the totem mechanic to stack players to attack and solve puzzles, and wardrobe equipment that offer new abilities.
It will be sold Oct. 23.
