Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One competed this Black Friday weekend at U.S. retail with a temporary price cut to under $300 to sell consoles this holiday season.

Between Nov. 26 and Nov. 28, customers can purchase the PS4 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Bundle at $299.99, $50 off the $349.99 MSRP.

In addition, customers can purchase the Xbox One starting at $299.

Sony has sold 30.2 million PS4 units in Nov. 2015 data.

In Q2 2015 the Game and Network Services division, which includes the Playstation business, held an operating income of $199 million, an increase from $160 million the year prior.

Sony held a net profit of $280 million on revenue of $15.8 billion in the second quarter.

Xbox hardware revenue declined 17 percent in the first quarter due to lower Xbox 360 sales volume.

Xbox Live users increased 28 percent in the period to 39 million users.
