Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 ranked as the No. 1 hardware in Japan in the latest data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 43,629 units between Nov. 9 to Nov. 15 to rank No. 1 in overall hardware sales.

It sold 33,442 units the week prior.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III ranked as the No. 1 software for the week selling 43,629 units.

It sold 825 units the week prior.

Sony this week released Playstation 4 500GB Limited Edition Star Wars Battlefront Bundle to U.S. retail.

The limited edition bundle includes the custom PS4 500GB console with Darth Vador image, custom wireless Dualshock 4 Controller, Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition, and a digital voucher to download four classic Star Wars titles – Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, and Star Wars Bounty Hunter at $399.99.

Sony this week said it will release Beyond: Two Souls for the Playstation 4 to the Playstation Network division Nov. 24.

The PS4 release will include 1080p graphics, the Enhanced Experiments DLC and the option to play in chronological order.

Developed by Quantic Dream, Beyond: Two Souls is psychological thriller that spans 15 years of a character’s life. Actors in the title include Ellen Paige and Willem Dafoe.

Bandai Namco Games America Inc. this week released Sword Art Online: Lost Song for the Playstation 4 to U.S. retail.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song is an action RPG that includes a new adventure and story in ALfheim Online in a new area of the world, Start Alfheim.

The final game includes four-player online co-op, online PvP battles, and character customization.

EA Inc. this week released Star Wars Battlefront.

Developed by DICE, the first-person shooter title utilizes the new next-generation Frostbite 3 engine.

The final game includes single-player and local split-screen multiplayer options.

Sales for the PS Vita ranked as the No. 3 video game hardware in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month said the PS Vita sold 12,501 units between Nov. 9 and Nov. 15 to rank as the No. 3 hardware for the week.

It sold 13,808 units the week prior.

God Eater: Resurrection ranked as the No. 10 software for the week. It previously ranked at No. 4.

Sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One hardware ranked at No. 6 in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Xbox One sold 524 units between Nov. 9 and Nov. 15 to rank No. 6 in overall sales.

It sold 825 units the week prior.

Microsoft this week said it will price cut the Xbox One to $299 this Black Friday.

Between Nov. 26 to Nov. 30, customers can purchase the Xbox One starting at $299.

In addition, all Xbox One bundles will be price cut by $50.

Microsoft this week released the Battle of Shadow and Light DLC for Halo 5: Guardians for the Xbox One.

The Battle of Shadow and Light DLC is a free post-launch update that includes 48 new REQs, Big Team Battle, four new BTB maps, and additional game fixes.

Microsoft this week released the Xbox One Chatpad + Chat Headset to U.S. retail.

The Xbox One Chatpad + Chat Headset includes the full QWERTY keyboard to add typing functionality to the controller and a Chat Headset that plugs directly into the ChatPad.

The final product includes two programmable buttons and is compatible with the Xbox One and Windows 10.

Sales for Nintendo Co.’s Wii U hardware ranked fourth in Japan in the latest sales data for the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Wii U sold 17,921 units between Nov. 9 and Nov. 15 to rank at No. 4 in overall sales.

It sold 9,935 units the week prior.

Splatoon ranked as the No. 4 software for the week selling 21,098 units.

Nintendo this week said it will sell a new Wii U bundle at U.S. retail this holiday.

The bundle will include the Wii U Deluxe Set and pre-installed versions of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Splatoon at $279.99.

Select retailers, including Target Corp. and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. will sell the bundle at under $250.

Nintendo this month said it will sell Wii U titles at $25 this Black Friday at Wal-Mart Stores Inc. locations.

Titles at $25 include Splatoon and Mario Party 10.

The Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 2 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Media Create Co. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 28,593 units between Nov. 9 and Nov. 15 to rank as the No. 2 game hardware for the week.

The hardware sold 30,383 units the week prior.

Project X Zone 2: Brave New World ranked as the No. 2 software for the week selling 40,945 units at launch.

Nintendo this month said it will sell a new Nintendo 3DS XL Black Friday Bundle in late Nov.

The company said the bundle will include the Nintendo 3DS XL hardware and Super Mario 3D Land download code at $129.99.

Retailers to sell the Black Friday SKU include Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Amazon.com Inc.
