Retailer Target Corp. in late Nov. will price cut Nintendo Co.’s Wii U hardware by $50 in a Black Friday sales initiative.

Between Nov. 27 and Nov. 29, customers can purchase the Wii U 32GB SKU with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Splatoon digital download SKUs at $249.99, $50 off the $299.99 MSRP.

Nintendo reported net income of $67.2 million between Apr. to June in Q1 results.

The Wii U console sold 470,000 units in Q1. Software sales held at 4.55 million.

Total Wii U sales have reached 10 million units in global markets.
