Sony Corp. this week released System Software Update v3.11 for the Playstation 4.

Update 3.00 included an online storage increase from 1GB to 10GB for Playstation Plus members, YouTube Live functionality to livestream PS4 gameplay to YouTube, new Events hub to keep track of activities for related games, Favorite Groups to access groups of frequent friends, Communities to create communities based on shared interests, the function to share video clips to Twitter, Stickers to send images to friends, an updated Now Playing / What’s New screen, and a Request to Watch option to start a live broadcast or Share Play invitation.
Sony has sold 29.3 million PS4 units in Q2 2015 figures.
The Game and Network Services division, which includes the Playstation business, held an operating income of $199 million, an increase from $160 million the year prior.
Sony held a net profit of $280 million on revenue of $15.8 billion in the second quarter.
