Microsoft Corp. this week previewed new Xbox One Experience Game Hubs to drop Nov. 12.
Game Hubs allow users to access contextual game information, follow games and receive updates from the developer, join a Party or Multiplayer session, and view popular Game DVR clips.
The new Home screen will allow users to scroll vertically to view a list of most recent games, contextual items, messages and friends.
A left tap will initiate the Guide, a quick access menu to Profile, Friends, Party, Messages, Notifications, Settings, and Snap.
The new Xbox One OS will integrate the speed of Windows 10 to boot game features up to 50 percent faster.
November updates include Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility to play more than 100 Xbox 360 games on Xbox One, new Guide to access essentials, redesigned Home interface, new Community section, revamped OneGuide, and an optimized Store.
Xbox hardware revenue declined 17 percent in the first quarter due to lower Xbox 360 sales volume.
Xbox Live users increased 28 percent in the period to 39 million users.
