Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 ranked as the No. 1 hardware in Japan in the latest data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 46,177 units between Sept. 28 to Oct. 4 to rank No. 1 in overall hardware sales.

It sold 4,071 units the week prior.

The Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain PS4 SKU ranked as the No. 13 software for the week.

Sony this week price cut the Playstation 4 hardware to $349.99 at U.S. retail.

Sony this week began sale of the PS4 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Bundle.

The bundle includes the PS4 500GB SKU and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Game Voucher at $349.99.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection includes Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception at 1080p resolution and 60 frames-per-second graphics fidelity.

NIS America Inc. this week released Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance for the Playstation 4.

Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance features a brand new cast of characters in which users lead Killia and his army of rebels against the overlord Dark Void.

The final game will include turn-based strategy and trademark franchise gameplay.

Sega Corp. this week released Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax for the Playstation 3 and PS Vita.

Developed by Ecole and French Bread, Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is a 2D crossover fighting game that features popular characters from novels published under the Dengeki Bunko brand.

The final game includes balanced characters and a Climax Meter to execute moves and recreate scenes from original novels.

Konami Corp. this week released Metal Gear Online, the online component for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Metal Gear Online is the dedicated squad-based online multiplayer component for The Phantom Pain that includes Tactical Team Operations and a class system to identify strength and abilities of player characters on the battlefield.

Sony this released 13 titles available to stream at Playstation Now.

Titles available include The Last of Us: Left Behind, BloodRayne: Betrayal, All Zombies Must Die!, Painkiller: Hell and Damnation, Deception IV: Blood Ties, Slender: the Arrival, Costume Quest 2, Stick it to The Man, Lone Survivor: The Director’s Cut, Blood Nights, Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters, Final Exam, Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov’s Revenge.

Sales for the PS Vita ranked as the No. 2 video game hardware in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month said the PS Vita sold 15,998 units between Sept. 28 and Oct. 4 to rank as the No. 3 hardware for the week.

It sold 9,480 units the week prior.

Tokyo Xanadu ranked as the No. 1 software for the week selling 88,879 units at launch.

Sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One hardware ranked at No. 6 in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Xbox One sold 203 units between Sept. 28 and Oct. 4 to rank No. 6 in overall sales.

It sold 232 units the week prior.

Microsoft this week previewed Forge mode Halo 5: Guardians for the Xbox One.

Forge mode is a level creation tool that is said to include an improved control scheme, mult-select / edit, free camera, grid / rotation snaps, grouping functionality, welding to weld objects to a parent object, 1600+ objects, multi-budget system, 100+ colors, and light objects.

Microsoft this week released the Logitech Car Pack for Forza Motorsport 6 for the Xbox One.

The Logitech G Car Pack includes the 2013 Caparo T1, 1939 Mercedes-Benz W154,1994 Nissan #75 Cunningham Racing 300ZX, 2014 Toyota #12 Rebellion Racing R-One, 1967 Honda RA300, 1967 Volvo 123GT, and 2013 Cadillac XTS Limousine.

The DLC sells at $7.00.

Ubisoft Inc. this week said it will release Far Cry Primal Feb. 23, 2016.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Far Cry Primal is a single-player first-person shooter in which users survive in a prehistoric world against enemies and the wilderness.

The final game will require users to hunt for food, master fire, craft weapons and tools, and fend of predators.

EA Inc. this week released Dragon Age Inquisition Game of the Year Edition.

The Game of the Year Edition includes the title and all DLC product – Jaws of Hakkon, The Descent, Trespasser, Spoils of the Avvar and Spoils of the Qunari.

Harmonix Music Systems Inc. this week released Rock Band 4.

The title includes 60 new tracks and supports all previously DLC.

Tracks include Freestyle Guitar Solos, Dynamic Drum Fills and Vocal Improvisation.

Sales for Nintendo Co.’s Wii U hardware ranked second in Japan in the latest sales data for the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Wii U sold 12,843 units between Sept. 28 and Oct. 4 to rank at No. 4 in overall sales.

It sold 18,024 units the week prior.

Super Mario Maker ranked as the No. 8 software for the week.

The Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 1 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Media Create Co. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 24,250 units between Sept. 28 and Oct. 4 to rank as the No. 2 game hardware for the week.

The hardware sold 29,110 units the week prior.

Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon ranked as the No.9 software for the week.

Nintendo this week released Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash for the Nintendo 3DS.

Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash is a side-scrolling action title in which Chibi-Robo must swing his plug to whip enemies.

Namco Bandai Games America Inc. this week announced new characters for Project X Zone 2 for Nintendo 3DS.

New characters include Ingrid from Street Fighter Alpha, Ryo Hazuki from Shenmue and Estelle from Tales of Vesperia.

Apple Inc. and Hermès International S.A. this week released the Apple Watch Hermès to select Apple and Hermès stores globally Oct. 5.

The Apple Watch Hermès combines leather watch straps handmade by Hermès artisans in France with an Hermès watch face reinterpreted by Apple.

The Apple Watch Hermès is sold in 42mm and 38mm stainless steel cases with three band versions – the Single Tour in 38mm or 42mm case starting at $1100, the Double Tour in 38mm case at $1250, and the Cuff with 42mm case at $1500, each available in colors including Fauve Barenia, Etain, Noir and Capucine.
