Microsoft Corp. this week said Borderlands will support Xbox One Backwards Compatibility this Nov.

Borderland owners will be able to utilize previously-saved files, game add-ons and achievements on Xbox One.

In addition, the title will support cross-platform online play between Xbox One and Xbox 360 via Xbox Live.

Xbox One backwards compatibility will allow Xbox One owners to utilize their Xbox 360 retail discs to download the software to their Xbox One and play natively with new Xbox One functionality.
