Microsoft Corp. this week released the Xbox App for Windows 10 Aug. Update which includes new 1080p game streaming functionality from the Xbox One to Windows 10 PCs.

The new update allows users to stream Xbox One games to a Windows 10 PC at 1080p resolution at 60 frames-per-second.

In addition, the new update includes the option to disable Notifications, display Recently Played games, compare Achievements with a friend, and option to manually add games to a Collection.

Microsoft sold 1.6 million Xbox One and Xbox 360 hardware consoles combined in the first quarter.

Xbox platform shipments decreased 20 percent in the first quarter of 2015 compared to the year prior.
