Capcom Co. this week said it will postpone the Beta for Street Fighter V for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 due to severe online issues.

The company said after three days of testing the program faced severe issues and that it would take game servers offline for maintenance.

The online beta program, from July 23 to July 28, was to be used to collect feedback from PS4 online users.

Street Fighter VIn the beta, users will select a fighter then be placed in training mode while an opponent is found. When an opponent is found users will head to the vs. screen and begin their match.

Stages include China and London.

Customers who pre-order the digital title via the Playstation Network will not require a code but will need to download the Street Fighter V Beta client beginning July 20.

Street Fighter V will feature cross-platform play to unite fighters into a centralized database.

The title will be released exclusively to the PS4 and the PC.
