Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 ranked as the No. 3 hardware in Japan in the latest data from the region.
Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 15,779 units between July 6 to July 12 to rank No. 2 in overall hardware sales.
It sold 18,171 units the week prior.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt ranked as the No. 15 best-selling software for the week.
Sony this week said it will release a demo for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for the Playstation 4 later this summer.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, to be sold Oct. 9, will include Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception at 1080p resolution and 60 frames-per-second graphics fidelity.
Sony this week said the Playstation Now open beta is now available in the UK.
Titles are available to rent from two to 30 days from £2.99 to £7.99.
Titles in the open beta include Bioshock Infinite, Final Fantasy XIII, Tomb Raider Underworld, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Dead Space and Mirror’s Edge.
E-Line Games this week said it will release Never Alone to the Playstation 3 and PS Vita.
The title was released to the Playstation 4 in Nov. 2014.
Never Alone is a puzzle platform title in which users can switch between a girl and fox character.
Devolver Digital this month said Hatoful Boyfriend for the Playstation 4 and PS Vita will be released July 21.
Hatoful Boyfriend is an interactive digital novel that includes a human teenage girl attends St. PigeoNation, a high school attended by birds.
The new release will include HD graphics, a new romance option, and brand new ending.
Bandai Namco Games America Inc. this week released Godzilla for the Playstation 4.
Godzilla is a fighting title that features trademark monsters from the franchise.
The final game includes more than 20 stages and multiplayer functionality.
Sony this week released God of War III Remastered to the Playstation 4 to U.S. retail.
God of War III Remastered features remastered graphics at 1080 resolution and an all-new Photo Mode to capture in-game action.
The God of War Saga, released in 2012, includes five full games in the franchise.
Bandai Namco Games America Inc. this week released Update 10 for Ace Combat Infinity for the Playstation 3.
Update 10 includes 15 New Special Aircraft, Four New Standard Aircraft, Four New Co-op Missions, New Raid Mission, Three Online Co-op Mission Ranking Events, Six Item Drop Events, and Eight Types of Challenges.
In addition, the update includes Six New Aircraft Parts, New Instant Radio Messages, Additional Nicknames, Skins and Emblems, Aircraft Level Cap Increase to 20, ‘Come Back Bonus’ for users who haven’t signed in for a period of time, game balance adjustments, and bug fixes.
Tecmo Koei Corp. this week released Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess for the Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and the PS Vita to U.S. retail.
Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess is a strategy title that requires users to utilize traps to defeat enemies.
The title includes a Quest Mode with 100 new quests and more than 180 traps.

Capcom Co. this month released the Prototype to HD trailer for Resident Evil Zero.
The trailer compares the Resident Evil Zero prototype version, Resident Evil Zero for GameCube and the new HD Remaster.
Activision Blizzard Inc. this week released The Giant Trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
The trailer previews ‘The Giant’ Zombies Bonus Map included in Collector’s Edition SKUs.
Activision Publishing Inc. this week released the Prototype Biohazard Bundle to the Playstation Network and Xbox Live.
The digital release includes Prototype and Prototype 2 in high-definition with improved frame rate and higher resolution textures and effects.
Prototype 2 includes all DLC released in the Radnet Edition.
The bundle sells at $49.99.
Each title will be sold separately Aug. 11 with Prototype at $29.99 and Prototype 2 at $39.99 each.

The release features the 2012 Porsche 911 GT2 RS and the 2012 Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
Both are available at no cost.

Tembo The Badass Elephant is a 2D side-scrolling action title developed by Game Freak.
The title features 17 levels to smash, punch, jump and swing to protect Shell City from the forces of PHANTOM.
Activision Blizzard Inc. this month released the Gameplay Trailer for Transformers Devastation.
The trailer features gameplay action from the brawler title.
Developed by Platinum Games, the action title will include instant robot to vehicle attacks, counterattacks and infinite combos.
The title is set in the G1 universe with five playable characters – Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Wheeljack and Grimlock.
